Beneath the Skin eBook David George Howard Reviews
This group of short stories are, like the 1st reviewer said, not what I was expecting. Graphic in its depiction of life that's not the idealized TV-style seen in sit-coms; but the more gritty, in-your-face down & out, it resonated with me in a way few shorts have. One story, "They Belong to Everybody", was particularly powerful. These may not be everyone's cup of tea; but, I contend you will remember them. This writer has a strong voice - I hope to see more from him.
This was very powerful and compelling short stories. It made to think and it was easy to read. I would recommend this book.
A unique voice, a compellingly interesting collection. Not what i expected, but a thoroughly professional short story compendium. I recommend it!
